Governor Walz unveils proposed capital budget for 2024

Yesterday Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan announced the administration's proposed capital investment plan ahead of the 2024 legislative session. The recommended package totals $982 million of bonding and cash dollars.

Under the Governor's recommendations, the Greater Minnesota Business Development Public Infrastructure program would receive $3 million. Additionally, Minnesota Housing programs would receive $57.5 million, and $5 million would be allotted to Early Childhood Facilities grants. You can read the full list of recommendations here.
